An Evening in Bowring Park, St. John's

Bowring Park in the west end of St. John's, NL, has long been a favourite recreation area at all seasons. Gladys and I walked there just after sunset on 22 December when the park was decorated for Christmas. At the entrance, kids were enjoying close company with the ducks and swans>

It was dark enough by this time for the lights to appear attractive, like this group attached to a bridge.

In Bowring Park To our surprise a wedding party was having pictures taken on this chilly evening. First, a view from across the pond and then a closer photo of the couple, who seemed quite happy despite the weather.
