Millard Creek After the Deluge
Over 200 mm of rain fell in the Courtenay area by Wednesday morning when several areas of the city were closed due to flooding. About an additional 50 mm arrived overnight and it is still raining. I went out during a short lull to see how Millard Creek was faring. So here are some shots from the mouth to about 400 meters upstream. It looks like a true rainforest area.
