Gladys and I, with our friends Anver and Masuma, spent several days in Amboise in late April. This old royal town on the banks of the Loire river (France) is famous for its chateau, Leonardo da Vinci's final home, and its current charming ambience. It also has at least one splendid patisserie.
A nice collection, Peter. The towns and villages along the Loire remain as picturesque as I remember them. These images capture a sense of that.
