Norris Point is a village surrounded by beautiful Gros Morne National Park on Bonne Bay, part of the west coast of the island of Newfoundland. A combination of tourism and the fishery allow Norris Point and its neighbour, Rocky Harbour to survive. I have visited the area many time, most recently during a largely wet period from 1 to 4 October, 2012.
